Our kids in Mexico !

Matt and Lina moved to Mexico last December to live and work. Here is Matt checking his watch at the finish line of the 10K race in Mexico City. Chedra is their new dog - and they learned that "my dog has fleas"

The city of Tenancingo where they live exports flowers all over the world.

Hannah is five ! Happy Birthday !

Hannah Elizabeth Reed just turned five years old and we think that she is beautiful, smart, and very sweet. She is our granddaughter, oldest of four, born to Tim and Allyson Reed. They live in Columbia, South Carolina but will soon move to Crawfordville, Georgia to live in her great-great grandmother's house !

Birthday letters from China

Hannah and Lauren Reed, two of our very special dozen grandkids, are just a tad over 12 months apart. Hannah will be five on March 26 and Lauren will be four on April 1. (They have two little brothers, Timmy and James) They are both very smart little girls who have learned how to read. Here they are right after receiving their birthday letters from me. We'd love to be there for their birthday celebrations, but we are very happy to be able to see pictures and talk to them occasionally. They are precious gifts from God.

Buy a watch? No thanks !

Our son John and his wife Bethany came to visit us last summer. Here he is on their last day refusing to buy a watch from a vendor in Tiannamen Square. The clip would be a lot shorter if I hadn't left the camera on. You can still hear the man trying to sell his "Mao Watch-uh", and we continue to refuse (nicely.)

You never know what you'll see in Miss Gregory's P.E. Class. Last Friday I saw the JK class having a blast with a parachute.
