Ni Hao !

I've been on a pilgrimage all my life and am on my way to a shining city where I am a citizen, thanks to my wonderful Lord who has given me eternal life. Born and raised in the USA for 25 years, then spending 22 years in Spain, 2 in California, 4 in South Carolina, and the last 8 in China has made me keenly aware that this life is temporary and like a vapor it will soon be gone. Mark and I both know that with the uncertainties of life the only thing that really matters is where we place our values and priorities. The Word of God is our handbook, treasure, and guidebook. Jesus Christ is our stength and joy.
We are thankful for the daily blessings from our heavenly father. He has never failed us and never will.
We are parents of six grown sons, who are all married. We have 14 grandchildren on earth and one in heaven.

Growing Fryers in the Chicken Coop

These chickens came in the mail as little baby chickies a couple of months ago. In a few more months they will become...well....food for a growing family. Fried, boiled, baked. Delicious.
Meanwhile it is the job two little girls (6 & 7) to make sure they are watered, fed, and cared for every day rain or shine.
